Day 1: Arriving in Priego

European exchanges on "water and environment"

What´s about:
30 youngsters have visited PRIEGO DE CORDOBA (Spain) to reflect on the aspects of the climate change and how to preserve the protected areas without causing any detriment to the everyday traditional economic activities. They had the oportunity to visit the protected local areas and they showed their own ideas on how to preserve the areas.

30 jóvenes han visitado Priego de Córdoba para reflexionar sobre el cambio climático y como preservar las zonas protegidas sin perjudicar las actuales actividades económicas tradicionales. Tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar las zonas locales protegidas y mostraron sus propias ideas de como preservarlas.

THE PROBLEM:
Everyday arises new voices to an international level which agree with the irreversible climate change that our planet encounters. Water will be seriously diminished unless we take measures inmediately.

EL PROBLEMA:
Cada día se suman nuevas voces a nivel internacional que coinciden en afirmar que el planeta se dirige hacia un cambio climático irreversible. El agua será un bien escaso a menos que se tomen medidas rápidamente.



THE CHALLENCE:
We should use energy resources with a better substainability and take more seriously the use of renovable energy so to decrease CO2 emissions, and also increase the number of forests and the biodiversity.

EL RETO:
Deberíamos utilizar los recursos energéticos con una mayor sostenibilidad y tomarnos más en serio el uso de energias renovables para disminuir las emisiones de CO2 así como aumentar el número de bosques y la biodiversidad

Day 2

Morning:
Official opening carried out by the political authorities.

Talk in regards of “Sustainable Development through Europe”. Reflexive groups among the participants considering what is been discussed in the previous talk.

Group dynamics:

Evening:
Visit to “ Centro de Interpretación del Parque Natural de las Sierras Subbéticas” and walk in the countryside “Sendero Botánico Dehesa de Vargas”.

Day 3

Morning:
Visit to Almedinilla “Eco Museo Rio Caicena”

Evening:
Make a valuation of the day. Make a presentation of the Romania and a gastronomic degustation.

Day 4

Morning:
Route in “ Via Verde de la Subbética”, Cabra station.

Evening:
Make a valuation of the day. Make a presentation of the Estonia and gastronomic degustation.

Day 5

Morning:
Tasting session of a variety of different olives oils. Visit to Priego de Córdoba: Fuente del Rey, Barrio de la Villa, etc.

Evening:
Make a valuation of the day. Make a presentation of the Italy and gastronomic degustation.

Day 6

Morning:
Visit to Iznájar and his natural pond.

Evening:
Make a valuation of the day. Make a presentation of the Spain and gastronomic degustation.

Day 7

Morning:
Visit to an association that works towards the defence of the donkey (ADEBO) in Rute.

Evening:
Establish a definition of the conclusions and final valuation of the exchange.
Visit to Fuente-Tójar and interaction with the youth project “Hugging Caravan”. Visit to the Alcaparra Festival.

Day 1
To locate the participants in “Cristobal Luque Onieva” schools residence.

Day 2
Morning:
Official opening carried out by the political authorities.

17 july: Visit to the facilities used in the exchange. Reunion reviews and sharing view.

18 july: Farewell, return of the participants.

Participantes: 1 joven + 1 monitor/a.

16 de julio: Recepción de l@s participantes. Visita nocturna a la localidad.

17 de julio: Visita a las instalaciones que utilizaremos en el intercambio. Reunión de evaluación y puesta en común de opiniones.

18 de julio: Despedida, Regreso de l@s participantes.

What´s about:
30 youngsters are invited to PRIEGO DE CORDOBA (Spain) to reflect on the aspects of the climate change and how to preserve the protected areas without causing any detriment to the everyday traditional economic activities. They will have the oportunity to visit the protected local areas and they should give us their own ideas on how to preserve the areas.
The participants should show us their own enviromental problems from their procedence country and also in a more particular way in their local area. The participants will also have the opportunity to develop new ways to help in a social level about the enviromental problems in their local areas.
We hope to make the young participants ambassadors of a Europe more concern about the enviromental problems and the climate change in our planet.

30 jóvenes están invitados a Priego de Córdoba para reflexionar sobre el cambio climático y como preservar las zonas protegidas sin perjudicar las actuales actividades económicas tradicionales. Tendrán la oportunidad de visitar las zonas locales protegidas y deberán mostrarnos sus propias ideas de como preservarlas.

Los participantes deberán mostrarnos los problemas medioambientales de su pais de procedencia y más concretamente los de su localidad.

Esperamos hacer de l@s participantes embajadores de una Europa más preocupada por los problemas medioambientales y el cámbio climático en nuestro planeta.

For "The international evening" - every group should think of what they want to show to the others about their culture, customs, drinks. Every group should also prepare a little example of their national food, so please bring drinks and food for this event.

Para "La tarde internacional", cada grupo debe pensar en lo que quiere mostrar a los demás sobre su cultura, costumbres, bebidas, etc. No habrá cena preparada el día de "La tarde internacional", por esa razón cada grupo deberá preparar además un pequeño ejemplo de su comida nacional.
